Though Chester County is far from any national border dispute, matters of immigration are a concern for its residents.

Last week, the Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition with the Chester County League of Women Voters and the AAUW West Chester-Chester County held a panel discussion at West Chester Borough Hall that featured citizens, immigrants both legal and undocumented, along with an immigration attorney. Drawing from their personal and professional experiences, the featured speakers addressed current issues immigrants face in Pennsylvania.

The purpose of the discussion was to analyze the perspective on immigration and the immigration community and how to keep pushing for immigration reform.
